No guitar express the spirit of the Oregon region and the Breedlove approach to craftsmanship more eloquently than the Northwest.

Inspired by the legends of our ancient peoples, this instrument is created from woods native to the region. The back and sides are myrtlewood from Oregon’s coastal mountains. Harmonizing with the myrtlewood’s glowing golden color and intricate grain pattern are a top of Sitka spruce from Alaska, a neck of Pacific Northwest big leaf maple, and a binding of walnut from Oregon’s Willamette Valley.

But the personality of the Northwest conveys itself most powerfully in the fingerboard, inlaid with authentic Northwest totem images, hand engraved in abalone and mother-of-pearl.

With sound quality and responsiveness to match its visual beauty, the C25 is an instrument that will lift your spirit – and your playing – to new levels.

Model Notes: C25 model with custom NW inlay consisting of hand etched reproductions of authentic Indian totems (whale & fish motifs) from the Pacific Northwest. Myrtlewood back and sides, Sitka Spruce top, Maple neck, and Walnut binding come standard on this model.

Relative size: Grand concert or OM sized guitar, but includes soft cutaway.

Tonal Characteristics: Clear, balanced and precise with a full, resonant bass response. More overall resonance than a C10 due to the extra depth. A wonderful big sound out of a guitar that is comfortable to hold in your lap.
