Subject: Mickey, Congrats on the Music Inc Retail Excellence Award
Hi Mickey;
Greetings Ted,
Thanks so much for touching base...
I love your Jazz Mando instruction set offered on your site. In fact, I've linked to them from our "Other Sites of Interest" section.

Just a quick note of congratulations on the Retail Excellence
award in the December issue!
Thank you so much for the congrats. I haven't seen the magazine to date. I do remember the phone interview they made with me.
Do they have a website? If it's not too much trouble, maybe you can find a web address in their mag info side bars. I'd appreciate your either getting me their phone number or the web address.
As you may be aware, like you, in addition to writing for
Mel Bay, may "day gig" is as music store co-owner, Dietze
Music based out of Lincoln, Nebraska. My passion is
mandolin but I've been at this whacky retail thing now
for over 24 years. (Mandolin doesn't exactly pay the
rent!...)
Yes, I see that you're doing a wonderful job of promoting Rigels on your site. It appears that you also have my very same taste...that is if the translucent blue CT-110 is yours? For, I myself, had Peter Mix make me a custom translucent white CT-110. I love what Rigel has accomplished with their mando designs.
We should try to hook up at NAMM, if you're going. I usually
spend time with Peter Mix, maybe we could meet at
the Rigel booth, or do coffee before the show opens.
I'd love to meet with you. I'm sure we could share some retail war stories. When you addressed retail as "whacky", I knew right away you've been there...
Best to you & Happy Thanksgiving!
Ted
And a Happy Thanksgiving Holidays to you and yours, Mickey
Keep up the great work!
(Dietze Music)
