Following are chromatic studies that focus on developing fretting hand technique. The picking hand's focus is for single-string approach where you will be using the thumb for quarter notes and the thumb/index for eighth notes.

Notes: Used an alternating picking pattern between the thumb and index fingers. Down with the thumbpick and up with the fingerpick.

Symbols Above the Tablature (Picking Hand): T = Thumb I = Index
Symbols Below the Tablature (Fretting Hand): 0 = Open String • 1 = First Finger • 2 = Second (Middle) Finger • 3 = Third (Ring) Finger • 4 = Fourth (Little) Finger
