Palatino Crack Resistant Bass
The VB-004 has quickly become the number one selling bass in America. The combination of outstanding quality and reasonable price account for the unprecedented customer response. This bass features a crack-resistant spruce top with a gracefully designed, arched maple back -both of which provide maximum tonal response from the instrument. The neck is hand carved from solid maple and features a fully carved scroll. The fingerboard and tailpiece are made from fine, ebonized woods and the bass comes with German-quality, Tyrolean tuning machines, which have a 24:1 gear ratio.
The rich golden brown finish makes the bass visually appealing. The satin varnish has a beautiful, hand rubbed look. Other features include a hard, rock maple bridge, and a long and sturdy endpin with sure-lock mechanism. The outfit includes a rosewood frog bow, which is adorned with an inlaid pearl slide and dot, with a pearl button, and is drawn with genuine Mongolian horsehair. The outfit also includes a bag, made from tear-resistant Cordura Nylon with nearly one half inch of padding, bow pockets, a sheet music pocket, and well placed handles which make this bag convenient to carry.
