If you've gotten to this point, and feel extremely comfortable with the first melody you've learned, you're now prepared to play your second melody. The difference now would be that you will be using standard notation along with the tablature.
This piece is written for mandolin in the Key of D...Meaning, if playing it exactly as written on mandola, it will be officially in the Key of G.
Soldier's Joy
This is a Civil War melody that focuses on the skeletal melody. After accomplishing this piece, we will add embellishments to further the learning process of arranging.
