Your First Scale Studies (Key of G)

Following are studies in the key of G...these can be fairly advanced...so take your time in your efforts to learn these patterns. With these scale studies, you will be developing both your left and right hand dexterity. You will become far more proficient at learning new material or taking on any musical setting challenge.

Notes: If you're unsure of where to place your fingers and how the notes relate to the fingerboard, be sure to refer back to our visual lessons on the G Scale: On Learning Your G Scale

Bow Strokes: Be sure to alternate your bow strokes...starting with the down bow stroke with each first note...followed by an up stroke on the second notes.
