Deering Boston #5

Here's the Boston with an option that can be important if ever attempting to play Scruggs' style tunes such as "Earl's Breakdown" or "Randy Lynn Rag"...it also makes it far easier to tune while playing since the tuning keys are reversed.

For parking lot picking the Boston rings out loud and clear. The thick steel rim which is unique to the Deering line produces a similar sound to a bronze tone ring and enables you to get a much more affordable banjo. You'll progress smuch faster and enjoy playing more with a Boston compared to a lower priced import that's hard to play. The Boston banjo makes playing easier because the banjo works with you, not against you.

This is a new Deering banjo that has never been put on display and handled by customers. You are guaranteed to get a banjo that is fresh from the factory without scratches, and you will be the first and only owner of a banjo that will last you a lifetime.

The Boston 5-String is the most affordable Bluegrass Resonator banjo you can buy. This banjo projects tone similar to other more expensive banjos. No doubt, you won't find one that sounds better for the price. In fact, you won't find one as versatile either. This banjo can be easily converted to an open-back for that "appalachian sound". So, if you wanted to pursue the frailing style or the 3-finger bluegrass style, this banjo will serve you both ways. If you're just starting out, or want to upgrade to a higher quality banjo, buy this beautiful piece of Americana. The Boston was named in honor of the many banjo makers from Boston who handcrafted banjos in the early part of this century.

Don't compromise on an inferior banjo that will frustrate you and lessen your desire to practice. The Boston offers easy playability with great tone that will inspire you to practice everyday!

Thanks again, -jeff
