Johnson Octave Mandolin MA-550 Store #12041...Posted 09/12/03: (Excellent Condition...some minor scratches) This Octave Mandolin's design gives it a better sound and playablility then the traditional Octave Mandolin. It has an extra deep body with big sound and lots of bark. The Mandolin features a warm sunburst finish top. It's back and sides are from highly flamed maple and has a chocolate brown finish. The neck is made from hard maple and the fretboard is rosewood with ivoroid binding and inlaid abalone.
