I used to own an old Stainer copy and I hate to say that this puts it to shame. I always thought that old Stainer was a bit flat sounding and this Cremona proves it! It has so much bite on the low end, holy cow! It's very clear and crisp on all stirngs. I still haven't even plugged it in yet. I was so enthralled with the acoustic tone i just played for a while.
