Folk of the Wood Presents:
Robert Napier: Fiddler Extraordinaire

Robert and I played together for a solid 5 years/6-nights-a-week at the Cattleman's Steakhouse in Fabens, Texas. We had some tremendous highlights performing together...at times, we even played 3 separate gigs a day and still made it to our nightly gig at Cattleman's. On top of this, there wasn't any limit to the style of music we performed...we would play the standard fare of folk and bluegrass music; however, and to ensure we connected with our diversified listeners, we covered many rock bands including the Moody Blues and Led Zeppelin. We also would jump right into "the Hot Club of France" where Bob would rip it on gypsy jazz...and, of course, we covered all the classics...Robert was, and is today, one of the finest, and certainly most versatile, violinists I've ever heard in my entire life...I will always hold him in the highest esteem.
