Mickey's Take: this tune is titled "Ladies Fancy" or in traditional fiddle lingo "Say Old Man, Can You Play the Fiddle?"...it's heavily influenced by Dan Crary's arrangement. I had the pleasure of meeting Dan and found him to be quite personable in every way...and, very understated in his demeanor. He was kind enough to take the time out to reveal some aspects of his esoteric approach to flatpicking. Needless to say, I'm forever entranced by Dan's amazing facility.
