These are definitely at the top of their class, and these pictures will not do the instruments justice. We have waited several years before launching this project because of the long reputation Mark Taylor has been given in producing some of the finest mandolins especially those built in the mid to late 70's. After much reorganization, and the help of a crew of 10 personally trained luthiers, Mark Taylor has begun making his mandolins again. They are made of the finest materials available, maple back and sides, red or sitka spruce top, triple ivoroid bound throughout, and his 70s designed inlayed vine headstock. These mandolins are works of art, and come with a lifetime transferrable warranty, and a deluxe vintage loar style black case.
