Weber Bridger Mandola with Custom Finish Video Sampler #4
Notes: This tune is called Lady's Fancy also known as "Say Old Man Can You Play A Fiddle"...to me it has a classic celtic feel...played in the key of Em this tune carries you to the shores of Ireland...Notice how clear the hammer-on and pull-offs are achieved on the mandola.
Mickey is on guitar and Sebie Denson is playing the Weber Bridger Mandola. Mickey is flatpicking his back-up and lead parts...while Sebie is flatpicking the mandola...of special interest: Mickey uses a .73 Dunlop pick that gives the guitar back-up a nice sheen. A couple of the phrases were an obvious influence of Dan Crary who is one of the most superb flatpickers in the acoustic world.
