Introduction to Gold Tone Banjos

Gold Tone Banjos, located in Titusville, Florida was founded by Wayne and Robyn Rogers in 1993. Active folk musicians in the 70's and 80's, they opened Strings N' Things Music Center in 1978. In 1993 Wayne designed the original TB-100 Travel Banjo and began manufacturing and distributing the "Traveler" mail order. After a wonderful review by Banjo Newsletter, the TB-100 became very much in demand. As the company grew, new innovations were combined with proven vintage designs. Dealers and customers continued to request quality banjos in a reasonable price range and soon Gold Tone's collection included 5 strings, 6 strings, Banjitars, Mando Banjos, 4 strings, and even our infamous Banjo Bass.

Gold Tone banjos and Banjitars, and all of their other instruments, are hand-crafted with carefully selected woods, excellent finishes, quality hardware, and "tight" fitting parts. Note: Gold Tones are all manufactured in Korea...On all models final assembly and final set-up are completed here in the US...such as planing the neck, polish the frets, adjust the nut, adjust tailpiece, truss rod, and the coordinator rods... All parts are from Korea...the majority of the parts are made from the tool and die system Gold Tone sent over themselves. If you see references, such as letters in our FAQ database, to the Gold Tone being made in the US, please understand, these references are to the above assembly and manufacture process. This certainly does not take away from the fact that Gold Tone is one of the best, if not THE best, value in the entire banjo industry. There's nothing that can compare when it comes to price relation to features. An amazing banjo at an amazing price!

Limited Warranty Terms Gold Tone Banjos
Your Gold Tone instrument is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship to the original owner for an unlimited amount of time. Gold Tone will correct any construction failures without charge. Owner must cover shipping charges to and from the Gold Tone company. This warranty does not cover repairs necessitated by normal use; damage caused by misuse or accident; exposure to extremes of moisture or temperature; lacquer checking or cracking; or repair to an instrument that has been repaired by anyone other than Gold Tone or a Gold Tone authorized person.

Your Gold Tone CC Model instrument is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship to the original owner for Five Years.
