Testimonials:

Date: Mon, 13 Nov 2000 Mickey, It got here today (the Wildwood Troubador Open-Back Banjo)! I fell in love with it on sight! Plays wonderful! Bueatiful tone! Very nice natural wood bueaty. That Folk of The Wood strap is great. Can you send me one of those with the other banjo when it comes in? Count me as one happy customer! First and Second Time.Would be happy to reccommend you to others. Will update you more latter. Thanks! Paul Mills

Tradition runs deep at Wildwood. Our Banjos might look 60 years behind the times, but that's something we're quite proud of. The early 20's was a classic era for traditional banjos. Our desire is to bring back the best of that period-with a sound unique to its style of playing, and a look that appeals to the most discriminating traditionalist.

All models feature a figured maple neck-from the mild figure in the Minstrel to our finest "fiddleback" in the Heirloom & Balladeer. Solid brass bracket shoe bands are standard in the Heirloom & Balladeer. Necks and rims are bound with a cream colored ivoroid binding and fancy wood purfling (with the exception of the Minstrel).
