Exceptional tone and exquisite looks! The Tenor Special can easily be converted to an open back banjo, and has all the same features as the Plectrum Special, with a shorter neck.
The Gold Tone Tenor Special has exceptional tone and exquisite looks! All the same features as the Plectrum Special, with a different neck scale. Mother of Pearl headstock inlay with hearts and flower inlay give these "specials" great value, tone and looks for the dollar. These four-strings are set up to play with "low-action" for easy chording and maximum speed. It includes a one piece flange and 14" resonator. These models may be easily converted to open back models.
Features include M.O.P. headstock inlay, hearts and flower inlay, shoe style lugs, bell brass tone-ring, two way adjustable truss rod, maple neck and rim with planetary tuning machines, mahogany resonator and a rich mahogany finish.
