Active Electric Violin
After receiving rave reviews at the 2000 Summer NAMM show, the Johnson Electric Violin has turned the heads of many traditionalists. Although designed exclusively for being amplified, the violin has a sound chamber that produces a warm sonorous acoustic sound. The active piezo pickup is mounted directly under the bridge and pick ups a nice balance of sound from the strings and the sound chamber. It has built in tone and vilume controls on the top for easy access.

This electric violin is built with a traditional spruce top and maple back and sides. The violin is fitted with grade-A ebony. The pegs turn easily and the fingerboard is nice and straight. The violin comes with a metal fine tuner tailpiece. It uses an active piezo pickup under the brige for a rich sound. It comes with tone and volume controls as well as a 1/4" jack.
