Notes: This Alternating Roll Pattern Chordal Study, using seventh chords and minor chords, demonstrates how good mandolin can sound unaccompanied. All of the supporting alternating bass patterns seem to give this progression a fullness not normally achieved when strumming or picking single lines on a mandolin. Again, this Alternating Roll Pattern is very effective for backing up vocalists and other instrumentalists.
