Mandolin Set-Up Part B Bridge Installation Preparation
Lay your mandolin in a smooth flat surface.
Inspect your bridge and start with the thumbscrew adjustments at the lowest position. (Note: some mando bridges are not adjustable and do not have the thumbscrew adjustments.
The thumbscrews can be raised after installation.
- Please Note: The thumbscrews are used to raise and lower your action (action is the string height above the fingerboard). When first installing your bridge, it’s best to start at the lowest adjustment and raise it only after you’ve installed your bridge.
